Would you believe if I tell you that I haven't experience high-school Prom? Yes, It's very depressing that I wasn't able to attend a very special activity in high school. Our school stopped that activity for the reason that a lot of teenage girls got pregnant right after that special event. What a lame reason! I really hate it, I feel that half of my teenage life was taken away from me. I really envied those teens who were able to experienced being asked by someone "Will you be my prom date?" (sigh..). Never had such experience and the worst part? I never had a Debut during my eighteenth birthday. Yes, I guess only rich teenage girls can afford to celebrate her 18th birthday with a debut cotillion where she have her 18 roses. Maybe I was really unlucky with occasions like that but I am still proud to say that I'm happy with the wealth I have, my family. :) Anyhow, before I cry myself out let me just share to you my desired make up for prom. It's simple & chic!
Wanna know how I did this? I'll be showing you this simple tutorial on how to achieve this simple & elegant looking chic like a prom princess.
The above illustration are labeled from 1 to 9, so that's basically 9 steps excluding the foundation part. Before doing the first step make sure you're foundation ready. I didn't include the foundation part here, but I applied my Everbilena liquid foundation, my EB concealer for dark circles under my eyes & top it of with my EB face powder.
Step No. 1: Chose silver eye palette to cover the entire crease, and blend it well using your eye shadow brush.
Step No. 2: Grab a smaller brush to line the crease of your eyelid using a darker color which is black and form a cat eye (see illustration 2 above)
Step No. 3: Gently blend the black color to the silver palette by brushing inwards.
Step No. 4: For your middle crease of your eyelid apply dark pink to give you the chic looking color. Just make sure you won't over blend it.
Step No. 5: Applying liquid eyeliner exaggerating it a little bit to follow the cat eye form.
Step No. 6: highlighting! highlight your lower lid using the same color with your base which is silver and make sure to include the inner part of your eye lid which located near your nose line.
Step No. 7: Applying mascara. (you can either choose false eyelashes)
Step No. 8: Simple pink blush powder for your cheek bones, Use your blusher brush and apply it according to the shape of your face.
Step No. 9: The final step is to grab your pinky pale lipstick to complete your chic look!
Hoala! You're finally ready for that one special event in your teenage life that you will always remember. Make sure to take your camera with you and capture that special moment in your life. Take as many as you can, it's important to cherish that moment and keep it in your pandora's box. ^_^ It's not really a perfect smooth tutorial but I really hope you enjoyed it. ^_^ Have fun! ^_^
