Hello mommies! As promise on my social medias, here is a simple DIY Tutorial on making a baby's headband. I actually did this as part of my daughter's birthday preparation.
Before we begin, here are the materials needed to create your baby girl's headband.
- Felt Papers
- Scissors
- marker
- Glue stick
- Glue gun
- Elastic bands
Gather all your materials and start it by tracing a round object on a felt paper sheet.
Cut the traced felt paper using a scissor.
Right after cutting it fold it length and crosswise to determine the center and mark it using a marker.
Draw a spiral pattern starting at the center.
Cut the traced mark using your scissors.
Then roll it to create a flower formed rose.
Now that you have successfully made a flower out of a felt paper, you can now attach it on the elastic using the glue gun. I wasn't able to take a photo of the last step because my baby wokes up. But it's up to you on how many or what design you would love to create. You can also look around and find an inspiration. I created three designs that I've seen and read on mommart blog, for more details and tutorials just hop over mommart.blogspot.com . Here are some pictures of my baby wearing my creation. :)
